Day 1
Departure for Niagara Falls. Day off to visit Niagara and its great falls. Dinner and overnight in Niagara.
Day 2
Visit of the first National Sanctuary of Saints Martyrs. Departure for Kingston. Dinner and overnight in Kingston. Possibility of a cruise on the Thousand islands ($).
Day 3
Departure for Montreal. Sightseeing from Ville-Marie to Montreal. Your tour-guide will help you discover this fantastic city. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Montreal
Day 4
Visit of St-Joseph’s Oratory. Come find peace in this unique place of worship surrounded by nature at the top of Mont Royal, highest point of Montreal. Departure for Trois-Riveres in the Mauricie region. Dinner and overnight in Cap-de-la- Madeleine
Day 5
Visit of the Notre-Dame-du-Cap Sanctuary. You will live both a cultural as a spiritual experience. Dinner and overnight in Notre-Dame-du-Cap
Day 6
Departure for Lac-Bouchette in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. Stop in Shawinigan at the Cité de l’Énergie. You will experience exceptional moments in an environment where creation and technology came together to form a world where your imagination has never been… Arrival at the St. Anthony’s Hermitage. Visit three superb chapels; Scala Santa, a vast chapel in the open air, the cave and a remarkable way of the cross on the hill. Dinner and animation in the evening. Overnight on location.
Day 7
Day off at St. Anthony’s Hermitage.
Day 8
Visit the Native community’s church and the Native Museum of Mashteuiatsh or visit the Val-Jalbert (Witness to a recent past of a pulp mill. You will be impressed by the magnificent Ouiatchouan falls and the beauty of the landscape). Lunch at the Pères Trappistes’ chocolate factory at the Monastery of Notre-Dame-de-Mistassini. Visit the Saint-Félicien Zoo. Share the intimate space of nearly 80 species in their wide-open natural environment. Board the “Sentiers de la Nature” train for an unforgettable excursion. Return to the St. Anthony’s Hermitage for dinner and the overnight stay.
Day 9
Departure toward Saguenay: Sightseeing through Chicoutimi. Visit of Chicoutimi’s Parc du Bassin, Sacré-Coeur Church, the Petite Maison Blanche, the St François-Xavier Cathedral. Then, visit the Site de la Nouvelle-France that offers you a journey back in Nouvelle-France! A tour guide introduces you to these fascinating people while you visit the four plateaux recreating how Quebec was in the 17th Century town. Thereafter, visit of the crèches of Rivière-Éternité. Dinner and overnight in L’Anse-Saint-Jean.
Day 10
Cruising on the Saguenay Fjord. Departure from L’Anse-Saint-Jean for observation of the landscapes and the Statue of Notre-Dame of Saguenay in Cape Trinity. Departure for Quebec throught the beautiful area of Charlevoix. Destination: Sainte-Anne de Beaupre Basilica. This Sanctuary is and always was considered a special place of worship. Our local people have found in Saint Anne, the way of simplicity and truth that lead them to Jesus. Dinner and overnight in Québec.
Day 11
Morning off. In the afternoon, you will visit Quebec City. Experience the European charm of the first French settlement in North America. This is your chance to visit history first-hand. The Latin Quarter, Plains of Abraham (world jewel of l’UNESCO, the Ramparts, the world famous Château Frontenac, the National Assembly, City Hall, Place-Royale, Citadelle and a glimpse of modern Quebec City are the perfect introduction to the city). Dinner in the Vieux Quebec. Overnight in Quebec City.
Jour 12
Day off. Shuttle to the airport.
Possibility of adding days with a small supplement:
Day X: Visit the beautiful Charlevoix region and take part in a whale-watching excursion. The area of Charlevoix combines with the majesty its mountainous landscapes the splendour of the St. Lawrence, passing from river with estuary, fresh water to sea water.
Day X: Day in Toronto with sightseeing and visit of the Salt + Light Television; the catholic Channel of hope in downtown.
